A touching poem
The above poem brought tears to my eyes so I asked if we could share it to stress the importance of getting permanent identification for your pet. This is not a marketing ploy, our ID Implanters are dedicated animal lovers and mostly work or volunteer in the field of animal rescue. Many dogs go through rescues every year and are given descriptions by the staff which wouldn't necessarily match the way you would describe your dog. All rescues, dog wardens and vets now scan stray dogs for a microchip and if your pet has one, it will be quicky reunited with you. 
This can cause confusion especially with "Heinz 57" crossbreeds.
One way to be certain your dog will be identified in the event of it straying is by having a microchip.
